You've looked at your kitchen. Or your bathrooms. Or both. Or other rooms in the house. "Yes, some decorative knobs or handles would look great." The drilling part seems simple. Turning the screws? That's easy. But, what about lining them up right? Rulers. levels. And who knows three hours later if they'll be straight. Well, now you know! That's why we're here. With the MeasurePro for Cabinets, you'll race through your kitchen and bathrooms in no time, marking exactly where your knobs or pulls need to be. Drill some holes. Turn some screws. Are you having fun, yet? Of course. You're done! 
You hold the MeasurePro for Cabinets flush against the door and make marks with your pencil. It works on the right side of the door. You turn it around. Use the same holes, on the left side of the door. Most decorative pull handles sold for kitchens and baths are standard sizes. 3", 3 1/2", 4", and 96mm. But, then, you already knew that. There are some 2" and 2 1/2" pull handles and the template works for those, as well. Theyıre just not marked. But, they're there. Once youıve used the MeasurePro for Cabinets to mark where you want to drill (use a pencil in case you need to erase), drill from the outside to the inside. Lots of reasons for this, but it assures you the holes are exactly where you need them when you push the screws through to tighten the knobs or pull handles. 3-inch pull handles are the most common, so we've put two 3-inch spans on the template. High and low. This is because some handles have a 3-inch span, but with wide sides, they need to be higher. |
